Let’s get started!
Great to have you joining us for The Foundations of Embodiment (FEC)
NB: This is also the 1st Semester of CEC for those staying on.
Throughout the next 9 weeks, we’ll be on a journey of self-discovery. That means we’re going to tune into what it means to be embodied, and how embodiment can help you.
It will likely be an adventure with lots of insights, humour, connection with amazing people…and lots of practise. FEC may well change your daily life. That’s the point actually!
Throughout the course we encourage you to check for yourself – do you want to take it easy and use FEC to build your resilience? If so then only do the core content (live webinars and core materials) and add from the bonus section only what seems fun. This is enough.
…Or, if you feel well resourced in terms of time and energy, do some of the extra bonus content. You certainly don’t have to and you may like to. It’s your call.
Keeping this in mind already means you are practising the fundamentals of embodiment – namely awareness and choice. The heart of this course.
So let’s dive in with some pre-course information, to set you up well before we start formally with the opening call on the 7th.
Best,
Mark, Christina & Alina
Here’s some overall information, that is important for you to know:
Every week, the content will be released on Monday, 9am UK time. Then you can access the materials (core & bonus), as well as the recordings from the live sessions (usually uploaded within 24h afte the call finished), links to the bonus sessions, additional resources etc. for each week’s topic.
Please mark each week complete after finishing that week’s course work, whatever that means for you (only core or also bonus materials). You’ll notice this updates the progress tracker at the top of the course overview. Satisfying!
The live sessions take place on Tuesdays, 9am, 6pm and next day 2am UK time. To join these calls please bookmark the zoom link shared in the schedule overview.
If you aim for your certification, it is mandatory to fully attend at least 80% of these calls live, as well as the opening and graduation call. You can pick the time-slot that suits you best. Do see the session guidelines on call standards below (e.g. cameras on), some of which may not be obvious.
Bonus sessions are taking place on Thursdays, usually at 6pm UK time if not indicated otherwise in the session schedule, and are there for guest teacher sessions, Q&A’s, social connections etc.
