Process, trauma and development

Embodied Toolkit Group process

Mark leads two group processes. This way of working is unlikely to be suitable for you at the beginning of working with Toolkit, unless you have previous process, coaching or therapeutic skills already, it can be very deep work.

Please discuss with the trainers before trying, even if you think you may be ready or skilled to work in this way.

Reflection / writing: you can reflect or write notes as part of your process of reflection.

  • What could be helpful in working in this way with a group?
  • What would you need to take care of in a process?

Trauma Awareness

Mark gives an introduction to what to be aware of in relationship to trauma and teaching Toolkit.

Reflection and writing: You can reflect or write notes as part of your process of reflection.

  • Is there any trauma you are aware of within you that influences how you are?
  • Does it affect your teaching? If yes, how?
  • What do you need to take care of in a workshop?

Levels of development

Recording from live theory session with Mark at Brighton EYP Teacher training.

Reflection / writing: you can reflect or write notes as part of your process of reflection.

  • What were your initial responses to the ideas of levels of development?
  • Did you recognise any particular qualities of stages?
  • Any other reflections or learnings?
